Our Story

Never was there a word more clearly said than those. Like many parents our brand founders were thrown headfirst into the world of allergies and dietary restrictions that appeared unexpectedly throughout their life journey.

Our goal is to continue with the ethos that Chester and Melissa established while creating Little Liberty - using top quality ethical ingredients, which support local producers, celebrate diversity and individuality.

While at the same time working alongside and immersing ourselves into our communities.

Where our stories started…

Rebecca is a mum to 3 beautiful girls, whose journey began when, like our founders, she was thrown into the world of food allergies and intolerances, which lead her to delve deeper into what was available. Her youngest daughter couldn’t enjoy ice cream like her sisters because of the reaction she would get from them - so Rebecca made it her goal to find something tasty that she could.

Peita, an Inglewood local, discovered Little Liberty ice cream when Rebecca rung to find out if she was home and wanted some. Introduced to a double cup of Hazelnut Chocolate and she was sold.

When we found out that Little Liberty was for sale, we knew that it couldn’t go to just anybody. In saying this, it has been our privilege to have discovered Little Liberty Creamery and are excited to both now own and be able to carry on the legacy of the brand alongside each other.

We would like to acknowledge, thank and comend Chester and Melissa (pictured right) for their commitment to Little Liberty.
